This 12 Gauge shotshell from Federal’s Top Gun Sporting line of ammunition is poised to let you absolutely dominate at the sporting clays course. Its #8 shot is made of lead, which is a malleable metal by nature, but Federal makes their shot pellets hard enough to avoid deforming during ignition that they may stay closer together in flight. This shell’s tight spread is made all the more effective by its whirlwind 1,250 fps muzzle velocity, but its cleverly designed wad and lesser payload deliver an amount of recoil that won’t punish your shoulder after a few games.
These 250 shells are loaded with propellant that burns clean to keep your clay smasher in better working order, and are socketed with non-corrosive primers. Keep the hull that your shotgun spits out after firing one of these shells — its sturdy plastic and brass head deserve to be reloaded a few times!
